About Mr. Viviani

My name is Joseph Viviani and I’m thrilled to be your Vice Principal here at Harvest Park! I think we have an amazing community here, staffed by engaging teachers that inspire our students to reach their fullest potential.
I graduated from Saint Mary’s College in 2004 and completed my single subject credential in Social Studies from there as well. This past year, I completed my Tier I Administrative Credential from Cal State East Bay and will finish my M.S. in Educational Leadership as a Pioneer in May of 2018.
Before coming to Harvest Park, I was employed as a History teacher at Dublin High School for 11 years. In my time there, I taught every core history subject including AP selections. I also worked in their Freshman Mentor Program as well as led the after
school tutoring intervention for at-risk 9th graders.

As a Vice Principal, my responsibilities include student assessment (CAASPP, PSAT, and CAST), facilities, leadership, ASB, and athletics. The departments I oversee are Mathematics, Physical Education, and Science. Additionally, have the pleasure of serving
all student matters for students with the last name L-Z.
Each day I am inspired by my colleagues and excited to work with such dedicated educators at Harvest Park Middle School. The commitment of the families and the spirit of the students create an amazing community. I love coming to work everyday!
I am very excited to meet each of you and get to know your families!
