For parents/caregivers interested in learning more about the dynamics of raising a family that includes both special needs and typically developing children. This is not a “how to” session but more of an opportunity to hear the experiences of different panelists. Siblings of special needs students are also encouraged to attend.
- Adult, high school, and middle school aged siblings will be represented
- Learn what siblings feel about being a part of a special needs family
- Questions from the audience are encouraged
- Resources and supports will also be discussed
The Special Needs Committee will also be collecting both new, unwrapped gifts and gift cards that evening to help support the Holiday Pop-Up Shop for families in need in Pleasanton and Dublin. You can go to www.Toyshop.team to see the items that families are requesting or you can just bring a gift card. Please consider helping every family have a joyous holiday season!!
