Plugged in Parents: Parenting in a Digital Age (grades K - 8)

The Tri - Valley SELPA is hosting a series of parent workshops on digital technology use and digital citizenship. The workshops will be addressing the prevalent issues involving student’s use of digital technology, the impact on mental health, and roles and responsibilities of parents in establishing healthy digital technology use as a family.  Additionally, we are hosting a couple of virtual tutorials to support parents in setting up basic parental controls built into most commonly used digital tech.

The first workshop in the series is coming up on March 30, 2023 and is geared towards the parents of students, grades K - 8.
