News for PPIE (Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation)
  • Super Match Campaign: With Giving Tuesday, PPIE launched our Super Match campaign.  This campaign runs through Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 2) and is a great way for parents that haven’t yet donated to PPIE this school year to get their donation matched.  We have funding from major donors to match all donations PPIE receives from now until the Super Bowl.
  • Survey: VOTE! This is your chance to let us know what you want PPIE to fund at your school next year.  We want to hear from you - whether you have donated to PPIE or not this year. Go to and complete survey to prioritize what staff (librarian, IT support, student intervention, student support, etc.) PPIE should fund at your school next year.
  • Grant Program Updates: The student grant application process has closed and students will be notified later this month of decisions.  Teachers, start thinking about your grant ideas, as we will begin accepting Innovative Education grant applications in January.  We will have the long-standing program, where teachers can apply for up to $3,000, as well as the new mini-grant application for subscriptions to apps to inspire learning through technology.
  • Run for Education: Who is ready for Spring?  Believe it or not, we’ve already opened registration for our annual Run for Education.  The race will be on April 19, 2020 and will start and finish at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.  There’s an event for everyone - 15k, 10k, 5k, and Kids Challenge. Start thinking about getting your family, class, and school fired up and register at  Early bird pricing is in effect!
  • Friends and Ambassadors: It was great to be a part of so many Back to School nights in August.  It takes a village and we’re looking to expand our village. If you are happy with the impact PPIE has had your school, please consider becoming a Friend of PPIE or an Ambassador.  The commitment is minimal but the impact can be huge - for you and for your school! If you’d like to learn more, please complete the Friend of PPIE form and we will get in touch with you.
PPIE at YOUR School: Still not sure what PPIE is and how it helps your school?  Check out the School & Staff Funding page on our website to see how your school is benefitting from PPIE this school year.
