Dear HPMS Parents,

We hope this message finds you well.  We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023 PTA Reflections Program, and we invite you and your child to be a part of this incredible artistic journey.

The PTA Reflections Program is a nationally acclaimed arts recognition and achievement program that celebrates the creativity and talent of our young artists. This year's theme is "I am hopeful because…" and we can't wait to see how our students interpret and express their thoughts and dreams through various art forms.

To participate in the 2023 PTA Reflections Program, please follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the official PTA Reflections Program website:(https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections) to learn more about the program, guidelines, and categories.

2. Encourage your child to create an original piece of artwork based on this year's theme. They can choose from the following categories:
   - Literature
   - Visual Arts
   - Photography
   - Music Composition
   - Film Production
   - Dance Choreography

3. Help your child complete the required Student Entry Form and Consent Form, available on the website.

4. Submit your child's artwork, along with the completed forms by Friday, October 20, 2023.

By participating in the PTA Reflections Program, your child will have the opportunity to:
- Showcase their creativity and talent.
- Win awards and recognition at the local, state, and even national levels.
- Earn scholarships and other valuable prizes.
- Build self-confidence and express their unique perspective on making a positive impact on the world.
