Harvest Park Middle

Principal’s Message

Good Morning,

In the wake of a lot of bad news and tragedy in the past month, I’d like to take an opportunity to share some positive news from HPMS.

First, our leadership class collected $1,780.85 for the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief. This was a student led and student organized fundraising effort. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Second, I am excited to share that KPIX is featuring Harvest Park Middle School during their “Cool School” segment this Thursday morning on channel 5.  Our media class and HPTV program are the features of the segment; tune in to see our students put together our daily news broadcast.

Lastly, I’d like to invite you to join me at PPIE’s Fall Gala on October 13th from 6-9 pm at Castlewood Country Club.  This will be a great event where I will be providing FREE wine pours (along with all our principals) and everyone will enjoy red carpet and green screen photo ops, delicious dinner and dessert, and over 40 wonderful raffle and auction items.  Please visit PPIE’s website - http://ppie.org - for a partial list and to buy tickets ($75/ ticket; 20% off for table).  Proceeds go to fund key supplemental staff (librarians, site tech specialists and more) at Harvest Park, so I hope to see you there!

Thank you for your ongoing support of HP!

Sincerely,

Robin Munsell
Principal
